The companion
This is a plain and simple instrument made from a variety of woods, such as:
Ash, beech, cherry, oak or maple.
The rim is laminated, of 12mm thickness and fitted with a rolled brass tonering.
Fingerboard is rosewood.
Headstock is either slotted or solid.
This is a lighter banjo than the woodtone.
Scale length is 25 1/2".
The necks on both instruments are reinforced.
Both banjos deliver a warm, mellow, sonorous tone.
